In case you missed it in the Deck thread.......
I say to you today, my friends, so even though we face the difficulties of today and tomorrow, deciding what deck boat to purchase I still have a dream. It is a dream deeply rooted in the American dream.
I have a dream that one day this Hot Boat nation will rise up and live out the true meaning of its creed: "We hold these truths to be self-evident: that all boats may not be created equal but must be driven fast and carry room for beer and bikini’s."
I have a dream that one day in the channel of Havasu the sons of E-ticket owners and the sons of Magic owners will be able to beach together at the table of brotherhood side by side.
I have a dream that one day even the state of California, a state sweltering with the heat of emission laws, sweltering with the heat of high gas prices, will be transformed into an oasis of freedom and justice.
I have a dream that my little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of the gel coat or by the number of speakers on the boat but by the ability to own a bitchen Deck Boat.
I have a dream today.
I have a dream that one day, down in Havasu, with its thongs and pasties, with its Copper Canyon having his shores dripping with the sins of many a college coed; one day right there in Havasu, Howard owners and Conquest owners will be able to join hands with Trident boys and Next girls as sisters and brothers.
I have a dream today.
I have a dream that one day every Deck Boat shall be equipped with a strip pole, every boat will have pleanty of power, the rough water will be made smooth as dancer behind, and the coves will all be made pastie friendly, and the glory of the Deck Boat shall be revealed, and all flesh shall be seen in swimwear that fit.
This is our hope. This is the faith that I go back to the lake with. With this faith we will be able to hew out of fiberglass a new vision in boating. With this faith we will be able to transform the old school deck boats of our nation into a beautiful symphony of floating works of art. With this faith we will be able to work together, to party together, to not struggle to pay the bar tab together, to go to the turtle together, to stand up waist deep in water side by side and take a pee while drinking together, knowing that we will be sun burnt that day.
This will be the day when all Deck Boat owners will be able to sing with a new meaning, " Maybe go to my place and just kick it like TaeBo, And possibly bend you over look back and watch me, Smack that all on the floor, Smack that give me some more, Smack that 'till you get sore, Smack that oh-oooh!”
And if Hot Boat is to be a great nation this must become true. So let freedom ring from the sandy beaches of Mohavi. Let freedom ring from the shores of Thompson bay. Let freedom ring from the willow covered sandbar!
Let freedom ring from the warm waters of Havasu springs!
Let freedom ring from the casinos of California!
But not only that; let freedom ring from the cage at kokomos!
Let freedom ring from banged up boats at site six!
Let freedom ring from every hill and molehill of Arizona.
From every mountainside, let freedom ring.
And when this happens, when we allow freedom to ring, when we let it ring from every boat ramp and every peir, from every state and every city, we will be able to speed up that day when all Deck Boats, Cobra owners and Conquest owners, DCB fans and E-Ticket lovers, Ultra ballers and Magic rollers, will be able to join hands and sing in the words of the old mullet spiritual,
“I'm a cowboy, on a steel horse I ride
I'm wanted dead or alive
I'm a cowboy, I got the night on my side
I'm wanted dead or alive
And I ride, dead or alive
I still drive, dead or alive
Dead or alive”

“I'm a cowboy, on a fiberglass horse I ride
I'm wanted dead or alive
I'm a cowboy, I got a hot babe in a bikini on my side
I'm wanted dead or alive
And I ride, dead or alive
I still drive faster than you sucka, dead or alive
Dead or alive”
