I flammed my trailer!!

These are the beginning pics of the flame job we started putting on my trailer wink We were bored so we decided to flame the trailer. Let me tell you guys that was some serious work tearing small pieces of tape to mask it off eek! I will post some more pics tomorrow :D :D

very cool! I was just going to do the same thing to the frame on my trailer to match the flames on my suburban (shown in my Avatar).
That's going to look great. Keep posting the pics.

Bye the way, it might be a little late now but an easy way to mask the flames is to lay them out with the fine line 1/8" blue 3M tape and cover the whole thing with low tack contact paper. Then lightly follow the fine line with an exacto knife and peel and paint.

Hopefully I will take this boat and not my other on to OP6 wink I pulled the tape off earlier and it looks sweeeeeet wink I will post a pic tomorrow of the semi-finished product. We still need to do the other side and then go over it all with wetsand. I am also having my transom adapter flammed the same way. the flames will start from the bottom and work thier way up :D :D I will post pics of that also when we start(hopefully Monday) :D :D

I can tell you an easier way to "tape" your flame job. I have a side biz doing vinyl graphics. there is a vinyl that is made to work just like a stencil. cut out your pattern apply your paint then remove the vinyl. I have a ton of flame graphics and can customize them to fit in any application. I would go see your local sticker guy next time, it may save you come set up time.

Here are some inprogress pics. Its almost done :D We need to wetsand and clear. I am waiting untill the pain is cured wink every person that drives by the trailer stares halfway down the street. I didnt think it would get that kind of response.I will keep you guys posted :D
