Okay whats the benfits of running of the balancer? Will my Sprint turn as good left if it runs off the flywheel?Just gonna be a river/lake boat. But I would like to be able to hang a left like a circle boat.Is there a wide varity of props if I run of the balancer?Just like to hear some pros or conns?

The benefit is the superior left turning ability.

I have talked to some racers about this and they told me unless Im racing competively dont bother changing it around. Still may do it some day. But most likely build a cirlce boat with all new.
They have told me to look at the set up first if you want it to bit hard in a corner adjusting the plates to make it do so along with a set of cav plate fins and a diffrent style rudder that makes the bow drop more. Anyone correct me if Im wrong

Change the cam, starter, dist gear, and oil pump and run it backwards....With a R/H prop..........

Its real simple... the right hand rotation helps drive the boat around to the left. Aside from that there is no benefit.

My boat was rigged original to run off the cranksnout. No Balancer. When it goes back together it will have a balancer.
I enlarged the keyway on mine.
