I HAVE this winch. its 24 volt.. You can change it over to 12 volt if you buy a few houndred dollars of parts.
Never had power going to it.
It is missing the farlead.
Has a remote and the block.

Superwinch is going to sell me the parts to make it 12 v at cost since I bought 2 from them.
so soon it will be 12volt and the price will reflect the amount for teh conversion.
So far a 300 dollar offer is on the table.

I need a new winch for my Toy. Whats a fairlead? I have the cable and the roller part off my old winch, it's a Warn 8000lb with a blown motor. Is this something I could make work with my set up?

Fairlead is the 4 roller set up 2 on the sides and 2 top and bottom.
Unit now is a 24 volt. you would need to have 2 batteries and some isolators plus a switch. charging system is 12 volt so you have to do something about that while you run teh car. Like NOT run the car :)

I was quoted 150 for a new motor and solenoid. They're calling me in the mornign to give me a better price. hopefully around 100 bucks.
On this winch i dont think the fairlead attaches to the winch. Go to the site and look up the accesories i think it shows a cool carrier that u could build or buy. Would be great to just slide into a receiver !!!!
My dad truck had a receiver on the front and the back. worked well. just take teh winch and slide it in either front or back of the truck
