I haven't made too many posts, but I'm Framer1's son. Here are some pics of his '62 vette. Very clean, and all matching #'s.

I think 1961 was the last year you could have a different color cove...62's were all one color... :p

Your right. The guy who had it before me just liked the way the two tone looked. He told me to tell people the 62 Corvette racing team had the two tone :) We talked about painting the red back to white but I like this look better.

I have owned 3 62's among many others......my favorite of the early models....I have never been one to worry much about originality anyways...I always drove them....your car is beautiful....enjoy it!

Hey Framer...where's the Class III receiver? BTW... we just scored a room at the Holiday Inn Express for the Festival. Now I don't have to rent the motorhome for Wine Country RV. ========== More money for hauling cases for Shiraz and Zin's home. :)

Have been looking myself. Just bought a '60 Impala, which will become a 409. Have had an injected '57 for years. Just got a '56 and '55 2 door hartop(s). Still looking for the '62 vette.
Good job. Hard to find at a decent price. Now, just get Dad to take off those hideous Torq-Thrusts and put some nice wheels on it!

I am thinking east of Paso Robles or east of San Luis Obispo.

The house is in the outskirts of Paso Robles.

The car is sick and all, but the area you live in looks awesome. Kinda like Vegas, except without all the rolling hills, green stuff, trees, clean air, etc..... .

Framer1, Nice car The Torq thrusts I think makes the car look great Gives it the early muscle car look. My 59 has the same wheels on it but 10" wide [moved the rear springs inside the frame to fit the tires under the car].If you ever need parts Call MaryJo Rohner in poway CA 619- 451 1933, Tell her keith keegan from NY told ya to call. She helped me out alot when I was putting my car together. Best of luck with it
