Still dead. After I type in my password and hit enter, it tries to load for a few seconds and then I get the "page not availible screen". Anybody have a clue for this one?

I'd try cleaning out your cookies and your history. Its worked for me before.

I have the "live" version, and mine is working ok, but that might be part of the problem, cuz they are doing all that new and improved crap with msn and hotmail

What type of router our you using? If doable try reset it.
Also some of the internet sites suggest the following:
Register the following system files
Click Start > Run
Type “regsvr32 softpub.dll‿ (w/o quotes)
Press OK
Repeat the above steps for the following:
regsvr32 wintrust.dll
regsvr32 initpki.dll
regsvr32 dssenh.dll
regsvr32 rsaenh.dll
regsvr32 gpkcsp.dll
regsvr32 sccbase.dll
regsvr32 slbcsp.dll
regsvr32 cryptdlg.dll
