Can someone give me a ballpark price on getting a single color gelcoat done. 19ft sleekcraft. Not including prep. Or approximately with prep.
Thanx

Anyone know somebody local to Los Angeles? Also I have stress cracks. I assume these are the gelcoat and would be removed with a new gelcoat. Does "body work" mean sanding the old gelcoat off?

My boat had so much glass work done to it that the price was pretty high. I bet Barney ground out and filled over 40 holes, most were bolt holes but some were 4" round ones. Also he fixed a shit load of cracks, Most were stress cracks (through the gel into the glass) and others were where the bow of the boat was almost busted off! Last but not least he relpaced bulkheads and fixed a few stringers that were comming loose.
So if your boat is in as bad of shape as mine was then you better really like it. If not, you're better off sending him some pics and just getting a price. What I paid might scare ya off but for what a new schiada cost it was worth fixing.
