I'm looking for a piece of braided hose to replace a bad section. The hose is for the water system for the headers. Does anyone know of a place in the L.A./ Orange county area?

Speaking of braided hose. Is there any websites that show what size fittings and hose replace SAE size hoses. For example: the -8 size replaces ??? I have never worked with those fittings.

TMR (Earl's) in Anaheim (I think?!) or Mesa Hose in Costa Mesa (kinda close to MPD  ).

Mesa Hose hooks you up! I like using them. I've also used Earl's too. Both not bad.

There is some handy info here (http://www.martelbros.com/cgi-bin/store/ws400CS.cgi?store=AQP&category=aeroquip/38.htm&cart_id=1030311102830295&page=aeroquip/aeroquip.htm).
My personal favorite is XRP.

Hey guys,
I'll give you a little briefing on AN or "Army Navy" fittings.....
The "Dash number" is measured in 16ths of an inch.
i.e. -8 equals 8/16 or a half inch and so on...
If anyone wants to know the way to put them together the proper way just let me know!!!! I've done a million of them.
Clay
p.s. far and away the best quality for the price is to be found at Aircraft Spruce and Specialty Company. There is one in Low-Cal, and the quality BLOWS AWAY that of earls or xrp. They are AN only in the way that they size them. They are by no means airworthy, and by the way cost way more than those from Aircraft Spruce.
