friend has a youngblood for sale. he knows very little about it and i probably less.i think it is a tunnel hull.has a berk pump,has no idea what impellar,454 bbc 4 bolt .10 over,11-1 c/r.
i looked and the hull floors & stringers look sound. interior is fair & paint is OLD fashion.
the boat reportedly belonged to dan pastorini x oilers qb. the boat is in beaumont,texas.asking $58??.00. he wants & needs the space in his shop
seller is stan cole 409 7532660.
i have some pic's, but have ZERO luck at posting them. anyone interested lemme know i'll send them to u.
i am also looking at an 86 taylor sj. not to race, but ride around and enjoy a beverage & the sights.
any input on these boats ?

The old "Quarterback Sneak" boat huh? There's lotsa history behind that boat when Pastorini owned it.....Including a fatal boat racing accident as I recall frown

Curious why it says peformance jet boats on the side if it is a Youngblood. Can you get the Hull identifcation number please?

i verified the vin through parks & wildlife and it is a youngblood,1st three of the vin are JBN which i know designates youngblood.
CP i'll have to send the pic's from home,left floppy at home.
any input on the little taylor i am looking at ??

Again i am only going off what stan told me about pastorini having owned the boat. it is unkonw to me if he has documentation. i have know him for years and he would have no reason to mislead me.
i guess i could run a title history, if really necessary !!

Vdriveman, looks like a nice deal on the Youngblood. As for as the Taylor, I have read they are a good quality hull, here is a Taylor specific site that might be of interest.

The History side of it would be if it actually is the old "Quarterback Sneak" boat that Pastorini use to race. There was a really bad accident with spectators involved..... frown

I am unsure of the year of that accident. i beleive it was the last year they raced down town in Austin,Texas.
i looked thru some tapes, but could not find the incident, but if i remember right he was piloting a placecraft when that accident occurred!
Anyone remember ???

Yeah...I thought it was too but wasn't sure. I remember it though. Just wasn't sure of the boat model.
