.....palm or should I say an Hispanic Palm? Damned thing is growing in the crack of two pieces of concrete right by the back door. Have cut the thing down to nothing and it keeps coming back. Something I can pour on it? Have tried Roundup, no work.

Did you try some concentrated Roundup straight on it.
I use Ortho Triox (has new name can't remember it) non-selective. Kills everything.

I use Ortho Triox (has new name can't remember it) non-selective. Kills everything.I second this (the new name is Ortho GroundClear Complete Vegetation Killer). Kills the plant and prevents anything growing for a year (so you don't want to use it anywhere near desirable plants, of course).
Good luck! :)

I cut one down in Corona and then torched the damn thing. It worked but I almost burned the fence down :)

I used to kill weeds with diesel fuel and a Hudson sprayer when I was a kid.
(I hear it's not legal now tho)... ;) I have no doubt it would work on a tree though.

Try a 50/50 mix of bleach and amonia:D WAIT, that could kill you.
Let me come over to fertilize and nurture it. It will surely die then. Thats why I like buying plants from Home Depot. If it dies within a year, take it back with the receipt and you get a new one.

Thanx all, I guess I'll mix up a batch of gasoline, diesel, Roundup concentrate, amonia, bleach, white powder that you put in hole, then torch the entire mess. Hope I don't start the house a blaze!
Thanx again,
Carl
Think my homeowners will cover the loss? I could say that I got the recipe off of the internet!

The palm tree is a grass (just trust me on this one, it is a grass), treat it with a good grass killer and it will die. Did the round up you use have a surfactant in it? If not add a few drops of dish soap to it (may cause a foaming problem. Other options include drilling a 1/2 inch hole downward at a 45 and filling it up with round up.
All of the above will do the trick if done correctly.
