That is not the biggest worry, but living so close to the ocean makes my deck susceptible to crab infestations.:jawdrop:

True, thats why you have to take the preventive measures against crab infestations. Getting rid of the crabs is no problem, but getting rid of that rotten smell is a whole other issue :jawdrop:

I think a bush as old as your's could survive quite well on my deck. A less mature bush would be a wreck in no time.
