I just broke my pops driver tonight at the driving range. It was of course on the very last ball of the night. Anyways, its a Callaway X 460 10.5, does anyone know about how much it will cost to reshaft and where to bring it to?

A new Big Bertha 460 with a Aldia NVS Graphite shaft is $299 at www.tgw.com. I would go to Roger Dunn to try and get it fixed though.

Any idea how much it would cost to fix? $300 is not really in my budget, but I did find the same driver my dad has for $200 at Nevada Bob's.

what kind of shaft? what's the stiffness and where's the flex point? If you need to get it reshafted, it would be a real good idea to have the new shaft fit to your Dad's swing. Nevada Bob's should be able to do it or at least tell you where to take it.
If you were closer, I'd do it for you.....done 100's over the years. Replacing the shaft is pretty easy.

I'll talk to my pops in the morning and see what he wants to do.

Call Callaway. They are in Carlsbad Ca. I broke one of my dads a couple years ago, and they fixed it for free. Something about some sort or recall on the shaft. Worth a try.
