We just sold our quad and now we are looking for a cheap side by side (+or - $7000) Anyone have anything that would fit that description? A mule or ranger would work. Let me know...

I don't think those will work for him due to the 4-speed. He wants a cvt tranny.

Isn't a Mule, Rhino and ranger all about the same?

WHAT DIFFERANCE DOES IT MAKE (MILES ) IT RUNS GOOD IF YOU PAY $2500 FOR IT AND SPENT $ 5000 ON IT YOU WOULD HAVE $7500 IN IT AND HAVE SOMETHING WAY BETTER THAN A RHINO

I think an older mule will be the best option.Suspension sucks but they make good cruisers.
No sure how long the rangers have been out but I haven't seen any for that cheap.
Where is he gonna use it?

Its going to be the camp cruiser for the havasu house. He will most likely use it to get propane for the BBQ, take the trash up to the big cans, and cruise with my Mom to go out to the canyon we always go to.

They were simple questions that I would ask of anything I buy so why don't you just answer them unless there is something to hide...
I am not looking to buy a fixer-uper, even if it is cheap.

are they a traditional 4-speed stick? I don't know much about them. They look pretty good for the money.

A Mule is fine if your working on the farm and need to check the crops out in the south 40
But if you wanna be a BALLAR you gotta with the Rhino :D
My dad wants a mule too, ever since he saw those little people on TV with one. I wanted a Rhino for about a week, then figured that it'd be better to buy a used 4x4 Ranger or F150, to put the boat in & out with, since we can no longer ride in the boat to & from the launch ramp.

I have a Rhino, not a baller Rhino by any means but it is a Rhino.
I am looking for something for my dad. If it ever exceeded 15 or 20 MPH I would be really suprised.:D

Thanks for part of the info I asked for.
But I agree with you on looking at them like a project. For where we are in Havasu, we need something that is super reliable.

Yes I am. The new Tyrex is coming out soon but in a carb version. The engine is bitchen. We had it in a quad and I was really impressed.
In this thread I am looking for something for my Dad. I sent him an e-mail
with your Joyner in it to see what he thinks. They seem pretty cool though.
Who is the engine made by? Are there many dealers that sell them that can
service them also? Chinese stuff is something I am still a little leary of.
