Now i am no fan of this war but its an all volenteer army and you knew there was the possibility of going to some foreign country to fight when you signed up. They did not train you to use a rifle for the fun of it.

i think that is a bit harsh but 20 years in levenworth sounds good to me.

There are always those who sign up to get the Governmant to pay for college betting they wont have to go......you could pick these entitlement ones out back in basic.....it's a slap in the face to all that have served! Off with their heads or 20 years......:idea:

AWOL is just absent, unauthorized...........Desertion under fire, is a firing squad........... Desertion, missing a deployment may be rationalized, but it is still desertion based on "what if everyone did it"................MP
Back in the 60s, "What if they gave a war and nobody came" was a popular slogan......
