Is "Ogilby Rd." Dirt?
No. It is two-lane blacktop, and the way I would suggest getting there instead of heading all the way West to the 111 and hitting the 8, then driving 40 minutes east to GW.
Ogilby road is not something to be driven tired, but it is WAY faster to get there on. It is about 20 miles prior to Glamis.

Ogilby rd will take you to the 8.
Then just take the 8 west and buttercup will be on your left.

I was gonna say the 78 does not run into the 8 unless you take Ogilby or 111.
I gave you the easiest route but the other way is probably quicker and shorter.

Trophy truck would be even faster than a car, you wouldn't need to use the roads:D
