A buddy of mine has a Honda/Acura repair shop in Newhall (Kiwi Motors) and he has numerous customers with cars that have well over 400K on original engine and transmission.
Mine '98 Civic just turned over 190K the other day.

Takes more oil per gallon to make it so when price per barrel goes up so does diesel. Plus during winter they still use it for heating.

i thought diesel was a byproduct of gasoline production. Im guessing all the reformulations and the ULSD has helped up the price a bit.

That along with the medical condition of the guy that controls the systems valves at the refinery, he has a hang nail on his big toe, so the price went up!!
Its simple!!

Yeah it sux.... i probably have only driven my Tahoe about 4 times all of 2007 and that was for river trips. i get 50% discount through the job for taking the bus, and its only one bus so i consider that i am saving a ton of money!!! PLUS helping the environment:D

The economy has an excellent chance of going into a recession. I am really a positive person, but I don't see an end to this scenario anytime soon. Need more refining capacity asap!!! And someone needs a solution to the housing market.
Hope that X-Mas is good for the retailers or you will see the economy take a dump!!

diesel comes before regular and after kerosene..... jet fuel..... and motor oil....... propane is the last of the refinement
