Maybe you could answer this question. :)
A plane is standing on a runway that can move (like a giant conveyor
belt). This conveyor has a control system that tracks the plane's
speed and tunes the speed of the conveyor to be exactly the same (but
in the opposite direction) instantly.
Will the plane be able to take off?

I rent a 2000 Piper Arrow (until I finish my Van's RV-7a). Should be finished late in 2008. I fly out of Deer Valley (DVT).

Glad to hear you're in business for yourself. Tell us more about your 135 ops. What kind of hardware are you flying? Back in the olden days my old man was doing the equivalent of today's 135 in TriPacers and Cessna 170's. Imagine that....
Chris, I can't remember but what power & prop are you putting into the RV7? We have these things popping up all over the place here, neighbor's doing an RV9 on one side of me and there's an RV6 at my neighbor's on the other side- a Velocity across the road...

well the 65 ragtop volkswagen the cheapest and most stylish way to go!!:D
But to answer your questions i will give you my general Ontario to Vegas prices because i figure about the same if not a bit cheaper for Havaskrew.
Available aircraft are as follows:
Piper Chieftan Twin Engine Cabin Class Piston Aircraft 8-10 passengers -$1100
Beech King Air B200 Turboprop cabin class pressurized 8-12 passengers-$2000
Cessna Citation 500&501 Jet six passengers max - $3000 Max range is appx 1300nm(nautical miles)
Cessna Citation V ultra long range jet 6-8 passengers $5500
Cessna Citiation X worlds fastest private jet cruise with 12 aboard new york to london at .95 mach better have big bucks about $15,000 to vegas
Bombardier Challenger 601 6 - 14 passengers depends which one we charter $4000-6000 dependeing on setup, they are really nice because they have a true standup cabin.
Gulfstream IVSP is available with ammenties for 12 full sized bathroom, full bar, and any weather anywhere range. $10-20K depending on acutual plane. I dont fly these ones personally because im still working on qualifying for the insurance requirments.
Going to flight saftey next week in florida for a type rating on a Lear 35 so that should take up most of my week.
This would just be a general scenario of you departing from KONT and arriving at KLAS vegas international

172N out of Lake Hasasu City Airport. I usually fly it back and forth to see family, all over the tri state area to look other people's toys that we buy and to Vegas and back to make sure nobody ever mistakes me for a decent moral human being!

Hey this is so cool, I have always wanted to become a pilot since I was much younger. I am only 21 and still have time to do it and it is definetly on my list of things to do in the near future. I would like to be able get my license and all certificates to fly twin engine prop planes for going to havi etc. Anyone have any recommendations on schools they've been to etc. What is the time frame course wise to get your private pilots license and various certificates. I know it is mostly based on my time and when I can go but on average whats the length of the course.
thanks John

They say the average to get your basic Private pilots license is 65 hours seat time. I got mine in 42. The more often you go up, the better things stick. I went to a local school here in Apple Valley. I would suggest a little seat time before ground school, so that what they are teaching makes sense. There is a pretty good thread with lots of advice around here somewhere. Do a search.
