YOu have to pay your taxs. No ifs ands or butts about it. Now depending on his situation he might be able to do a "payment in compramize" or set up a payment plan.... anything is possable unless he ows back taxs that he tried to "not pay"... then its no lube time.

My father is a CPA specializes in IRS situations and business valuations... Use to be a fraud investigator and professional witness, type stuff with them . PM me if you want his number...
