need oil slinger for ford 460

If any has an oil slinger for a ford 460 and would like to part give me a shout.
the one I have is flat but the books show a cup shape one. if anyone could tell me what this part actually looks like and how I could get one I would be thankful.

Brendella, I just tore down my 460 in my Targa, and it has the flat oil slinger also. I rebuilt the 460 that's going into my Jeep Wrangler approx 12 months ago, and it too was of the flat variety. All you need is a flat piece that keeps the oil from shooting forward against the oil seal on the timing cover.. Ivan

You're welcome... I'd hoped to have mine all together by now, but the damn machine shop is dragging their feet. One of the other things I miss about not being in Calif anymore... Just about every part has to be mail ordered(no one stocks anything in Memphis)and the machine shops are few and far between... So once you've found one that does good work, you have no choice but to wait.. Take care, good luck. Ivan
