Tach Wanted

Looking for an original Sanger Tach, someone on here had one about a year ago, I think we kept missing each other. It needs to work, don't want to have to deal with re-building one. The tach I have is a Jones Motorola, this would be fine also, would really rather have the Sanger on the face. My tach is 3" with a trim ring of 4 1/2", it runs off of the V-Drive box. Thanks:D

i just bought one and sending to a company for resto on it. i found it on e bay. i paid 140 for it. ill keep my eyes open for you. its the pedles that cost . i had to pay 350 for it

I think Rexone on the boards fixes broken gauges if you find one needing service. Good luck in your search.

the Tach works its cable driven . it has a tiny bit of water under the lens and the chrome trim ring has some surface rust on it .. heres a pic of it if ya still want it let me know .. it is a actual Sanger tach says right on the face "Sanger Boats" made by Jones . anyway let me know , Bill

What is on the face? To the side of the needle.

actually i didnt notice that when i hosted the pic i went back outside and looked at it again and the Face doesnt have a mark on it thats either moisture cause it was early distorting the pic or water stain on the glass theres no stain on that spot of the tach .. on the bottom of the Inside where the tiny bit of Water is theres some rust building up there . the tach needs Restoring but it does work by turning the cable by hand ..

hey Sam i got the Tach to Clean up quit a bit i thought it was rust but it was just dirt build up i took it apart and cleaned it so it looks alot better but not perfect ... im gonna be in the area tomorrow i have to go to Placerville for doctors appointment then to Roseville so if you want to check it out call my Cell leave me a Message and # to call you back at and i will drop by if your still interested ... i also have the Casble for it if you need it but i have to remove it from boat still so let me know actually call me at home if not there try Cell ... 530-333-1047 Home and Cell is 530-903-1623 thanks again , Bill
