I have T-Mobile and have not had a single problem. I got rid of Verizon b/c they drove me nuts. I was in Havi and Parker this summer and never had any troubles. Even worked in Guadalajara and Romania :D

I've had Tmobile for 4yrs now... GLAMIS & HAVASU!! Signal all the time!!! No complaints here!!
They share the GSM network with Cingular, so whatever Tmobile can't grab, they switch you to Cingular... no roaming charges!! I love it!!!:D

T-Mobile is a great value. You get a lot of minutes for the money. Their customer service is ranked best in the Industry by JD Powers however, I am starting to hear a lot more people complaining about their customer service then usual so I think they are slipping in that department, hopefully they get it taken care of because it's their only real edge over their competitors.
The downside to T-Mobile is that their data coverage sucks in comparisson to the rest of the major carriers. T-Mobile probably won't have 3G for another 2 years and by that time all the other carriers will have surpassed 3G with WiMax Technology.
If you don't care about having the newest, flashiest phones, or high speed DATA T-Mobile is a good choice.

Would this be true Nationwide?
Yes.
You lose a lot features when roaming on the AT&T network though. You may not be able to recieve voicemail, your mobile to mobile is not free, and you will not have access to data.
They also have agreements with a few other providers as well but the same voicemail, data, and mobile to mobile stuff applies.

I've had TMobile for about 4 years now. I get zero reception in Parker, and minimal recption in Havasu. However, I do manage to get reception in select spots....
