Which do you prefer and where can I get the best deal? It's for a Toyota Sequoia.

Well, Our Tahoe has the flip down with wireless headphones and it works great. Keeps the kids quiet for hours on end.

Flip down hommy. The headrest monitors never look quite as good as the flip down. I'm sure your chickens won't mind having to share a screen. Call my sis...she can hook you up. I'm sure my douche-in-law has about 15 sitting around his shop. HAHAHA

Headrest monitors all the way. You can drive their own source, which you can't do with a flip down. My kids are 5 and 8, they don't want to watch the same movies or play the same games all the time. We went with the three input Alpine M780 headrest monitors and two modded xbox's. They came each play a game, they can play a game against each other, each watch a different movie, they can switch their monitors so they are both on the same source or I can pop a movie in the front DVD head unit and they can all watch the same. And, with the modded xboxs, all the movies and game are loaded onto the hard drive, no discs in the car. The Alpine comes complete with 2 channel wireless infrared headphones, so they both hear what's on their monitor only.
Bottom line, you're a giver. I'm just throwing in a new head unit and will have the ability to control the TV from the front seat and already have the PS2 in the rig. The ability to have a TV in the car is huge for driver sanity. 2 seperate Xboxes...that's got to be a little slice of heaven. What happens when you have a third?
Since Mattman is cranking on his hog while watching horse porn at work...I have some ideas on what works with my Tahoe but any suggestions on aftermarket makes so I don't lose steering wheel controls, onstar and XM?

if you have 2 or more kids, i'd go with the headrest monitors even for the 3rd row seats if needed. make sure your windows are tinted dark enough to where they won't be seen from the outside. they will eventually get stolen otherwise.

I think that's the key. 2 or more kids. If you have 1 kid, you're not really a parent anyway. ;)
Ok good, I'm covered there. Do you guys suggest a monitor in the dash as well. Nav/DVD?

I'd go with a DVD in dash that either has nav or you can add nav to. I'd suggest an Eclipse or Pioneer. I'd steer clear of Alpine because their nav sucks ass. It's like the cheapest repackage Tom Tom, but it's like $600 extra.
If you put a dual zone DVD monitor in the dash, you can get away from a secondary source for awhile. Just pop in a DVD for the kid(s), put their wireless headphones on and select dual zone so you and the mrs can get your freak on up front with a little satellite radio.
One thing to consider also, is little kids/infants/toddlers have a hard time wearing headphones. My kids were not fully comfortable wearing them until maybe 3.5-4 years old. My daughter especially, her head was just too small for them to fit right.
SWB might have a little business here... :D :D

You answered my next question. My girls are two and four so their grapes aren't that big yet to wear the headphones comfortably.

I assume dual DVD allows for both headrests to show different movies, xbox etc.?

Toyota accessory website often has a sale on the unit for your rig with dealer installation.
Nice units.
May want to check it out first.

Can't wait to see what's available when my almost-two-year-old twins are a couple of years older. :)

Similar set up here, except i have two flip down 9" monitors. Middle seat and third row. Kids can choose between DVD, playstation, vcr, or xbox. Kids can watch the same show/game or different, wireless headphones is the only way to go:D Except for when they are listening to music and you have to listen to them sing.:D
