We Have 20ft.1975 Hallett W/454 we are looking for
a 12 JG bowl and droop snoop. We are also wondering is it worth taking the hook out of the haul or is it to heavy of a boat. Anyone ever done it or know anybody that has, am I wasting my time.

Depend's
Are you really in love with the boat???
Let me tell you something I put a "race" bottom on my Eliminator Daytona, And the amount of time that it took to de rig the haul and flip it over. Make a cradle ,,,,,,-=0-02359h2qekjfb9807 "Any way's this will take me to long to explain " So cut and dry to the point it took me about 2 months working on it here and there after work, And I used to do fiberglass work on boats at a marina.
It does not happen over night,
And if you have no previous Experiance with Glass
You may want to look into another Boat .
I'm not saying that the boat you have is bad
But if it indeed has a hook in the bottom of it
It will be alot of work to take it out smile_sp smile_sp smile_sp

Which hull is it? The Sprint? I don't think most of those Hallets had much of a hook. My Dad had a Sprint and it was about the best bottom on a jet boat I've ever seen.
