Ok.. so we go out on to Lake Powell for a nice Thanksgiving.. have the HUGE houseboat.. etc.. but the peeps who haven't been on Powell for eons.. want to take a trip up to Rainbow bridge.. well.. trip up was great from what I hear.. (stayed behind on the houseboat).. but got the radio message and phone call that Mardonzi needed to be pulled back in!:eek: :eek: :mad: :mad:

nope.. the GPS was reading 300'... and he hit a submerged Log... my boss who went "up Lake" to camp met up with a similar log.. or the same one.. but they were in a houseboat.. really saw it.. and Putzd away from it!:(

Ouch! Where the hell did the log come from? Only trees Ive seen are the ones at the back of the canyons that have been submerged for 30 years. The chance of hitting one on that huge lake has got to be one in a couple million. Where did this happen?

Don hauled it down to Phoenix.. not sure where he dropped it.. I won't call to wake him up until about 9:30 tonight.. but send him a PM...

It was just a bit brrrrrryyyyy.. BUT THE HOUSEBOAT HAD A FIREPLACE.. wooohoooo... (but turned the generaters off at night.. and the temps dropped fast.. ) WANNA GO SWIMMING WITH ME?????:devil:

That is one thing Ive never looked for at Powell. Now I have something else to whatch for. You just cant see them submerged at planed speeds.

That is normally not around because most people will drag it out of the way... but .. with being right near antelope.. may have come from their blasting for the ramps or even to make the water well deeper for NPS.. ya never know:jawdrop:

Don if you need to store the boat or have a place for repairs, PM me. You can leave it at my yard until you drag it back. I have a place that can do the repairs as well. Is it an XR drive?
