Oil Question

I am considering changing from regular to Mobil 1 Syn. I was wondering if anyone has some feedback on changing oil types as well as running synthetic in general. I run Mobil1 in my truck and have had no drama. Any feedback anyone has would be appreciated. The motor is a 454 MarinPower Magnum. 21' Ultra with a Dominator Jet. Motor is 1 yr. old. Thanks...
