Today I was just messing around on the interent and found this web site called rare koncepts and saw some ultra designs on it, so just woundering is that how they do there graphes now on the computer or John is realy good ?

They have done a few drawings in the past for us but most of them are done by hand by John West.

Rare Koncepts does all original artwork, as represented by their website. They did the design for our 28 Howard. Russ and his brother do amazing work...

Best way to find out is to just order an Ultra and design it yourself with John. :D
Seriously though sitting at his desk he pulls out all his colored markers and the brainstorming starts and then his just starts drawing it in and it looks great.

We have done a few original designs for Ultra over the past 2 years and we have digitize some of John's original drawings for him. He still sits and designs one off designs with his clients. I wish we could take all the credit for what he creates. Yes, he really is that good. :D

All the graphics for our boat were done by John West. I kept getting colored pen sketches emailed to me then followed up by phone to discuss what we liked and what we wanted changed. We are very happy with ours.

This is the latest design we did for an Ultra client in July. We come up with a drawing based off of input from the client, then the design is colored in. Once we are happy with the overall design we digitize it so it is quicker to change colors and move parts of the graphic around. John did his magic to the top graphics and of couse the gel work looks flawless.
