Coming down pretty good here in Thousand Oaks, not a good way to start the weekend off, especially with all the recent fires, we don't need any mudslides :jawdrop:

Not raining to bad from Castaic to Burbank, but i agree if it rains hard in some of the burn areas they could have some problems.

The rain started around 1 am in Lake Arrowhead, and boy do we need rain. I'd hate to see heavy rains that can cause mudslides in the fire areas, but we need the rain to replenish our lake.

Was raining in Castaic pretty good when left this morning at 4 AM. Cleared up once hit the 210 freeway in Sylmar. Started raining in La Canada/Pasadena area a few hours later.
We sure need this rain but hopefully no downpours to cause mudslides.

Thank God itÂ’s raining. Wash down some of this ash and soot. Every time I sweep my patio the wind blows and covers it in ash again.

I like the rain for a change. So Cal needs it desperately too.

Love the rain, just not the stupid drivers. You would think they had never seen water coming from the sky before! :D Lol I guess it has been a while...
Its pouring down here in Costa Mesa; took me an hour and a half to drive the 13 miles to work...

Im dancing in the rain:
Just perfect here in the Riverside area light to moderate, enough to get cleansed but not enough to wash down homes. A few more of these and maybe some grass will grow on the hillsides.
More rain and maybe we can keep our water prices steady, or no rain and drought conditions and pay current gas prices for our water

The freeways are a freaking mess. You have some drivers that are over cautious and wont drive over 10 mph and then you have the other extreme where they drive 80+ mph.

I turn my sprinklers off in the winter completely. I just water the lawn here and there depending on how it looks.

Rain sucks!!!
Ruined the track day at Fontana and my backyard was pretty flooded for a couple hours. Rained so hard in Corona my drains couldn't keep up:mad: :( :jawdrop:

MEGA-DOPPLER 7000 HD will be working overtime today.
I love every a$$hole news reporter standing out in the rain saying, " It's raining"! No shit? I had no idea, I was wondering what the fock that was dropping out of the sky, getting everything wet... Let's pay someone and a crew, have them drive a van to a random street and verify what everybody already knows. :hammer2:
BTW.. DRIVE SAFE OUT THERE!

I do the same thing up in Lake Arrowhead. I turn my water off from Nov-March. My grass goes dormant, and it stays cold enough so I don't have to water anything.
