View Full Version : Chrome Jet

I just pulled the back part's of my jet off the boat today so that I could paint it. I dont know what the parts names are, but it was the steering nozzle, the end cap, and the arm that attaches to the steering cable. I sanded and primered the bowl, then painted it. But I thought that it would look cool if the other parts where chrome or nickle plated. Can anybody think of any reason "other than bad taste" to not have these parts plated?
Any help or advice would be appreciated.

Steve, run a seach in this forum, as there was a thread not too long ago called "Why wont the chrome shop plate my diverter?"
Should tell you everything you need to know.

Thanks Jordy
I did try the search, but used the wrong subject and it came up, no matches found.
Thanks again.
