Nina & I are driving from Simi to El Cajon (crappy drive) to see our new F-29 fresh out of the mold/color sanding......if anybody is close around noon, would love to meet some folks from HB. A chance to say "wassup" and look at some cool hardware...just a thought. :)

Oddly enough a buddy of mine from Moorpark that you met once in trying to buy your Howard is just slightly ahead of you with his F-29 and you will probably see it while you are down there but I am sure he won't be. His name is Brian if you remember and you guys can start your own Ventura County Kool-Aid chapter if you set your minds to it ;)

Thanks...Wife is giving me sh*t..says it has too much pearl....oh well, that is life..boat graphics are always a surprise.....we can call it the Bass-Cat.
We went with conservative Mercury 525s/XR-ITS/sportsman lowers...wanted reliable, warranty, 87 octane and a boat under a gazillion $$$$$ (no loan!!)!! We did the light layup (Penske composite, Kevlar, vac bag)..Dave said 120+ with the right props.....we will prop for Family fun and just waive at the Ilmor & Teague powered cats as they go bye-;)

I'm surprised Charley wasn't down there as he's the official meet and greeter. Does Dave talk to you since you didn't spend a gazillion dollars on motors etc.....:D

Shooting for the LA Boat show....Dave said she is just a bit unusual and would like to use her on the floor.....something about calling it the "Platinum Edition"-J/K
I can bet that there will be very few like her on the water....maybe the micro-pearl, bass-cat concept will catch on...???? :)

So, if I ordered a 29 DCB, In and Out style....
Double double pearl with black, grays, rod holders and 526 motors, would you have to get one with 527s and 3X pearl?

He talks and posts about a lot more on here as well. I would say that the boat is the least he talks about. That is true about 99.8% of anyone on here though. Nothing new.
Oh, and I think the boat looks good. There, brought the boat into a post. :)
