Hell of a place to store a boat

I found this in Kentucky a couple of months ago. I thought it was odd, but let it go. I was there again yesterday and had a little time to investigate and take these photos. This Checkmate was carefully placed in this position. On the backside, are several boats rounded up inside a chain link fence. Some have seen better days, a few trailers, and a couple of really nice boats including a 28' +/- vee bottom sport cuddy. But the majority of them enough dust on them to figure that the place isn't doing anything but letting the weeds grow. This isn't a good part of town by any means, but there they sit.
