what is the difference between a bravo1 upper and a bravo x (not xz or xr) thks.

The main difference is the X has a steel tower in the Driveshaft housing. The gears are almost identical except the X gears go through a "double shot" process that makes them a little more durable.
The gear housing assemblies are the same.
