Hey Riverbound,
Whats your best DB in DB drag racing? What set up?
I had consulted on a set up in Anchorage for a local shop once. Had 9 Kove 12's,
36 Fosgate 1200's. 2 amps per voice coil, on 18 volts. burped a 169.0.
Could not get it sorted out. (48Hz.)
Did manage to destroy a lot of free shat trying though!

I have drank way too much alcohol since my last db drag so the details are blurry. we campaigned an DAILY driven expedition with 9 12w6s and 1 rockford bd1000. and I want to say we were in the low 150s high 140s (i would have to check to be positive). I only dabbled in spl as sq was my favorite. the DB drag guys made me laugh but they did move the sport forward by leaps and bounds.

Historically their parents basements, and or their garages in the case of havasu. Kinda reminds me of that country song "way cooler online"

I hear Ya! (sort of, pretty deaf myself)
My old lady's Durango does quite well. Kenwood HU w/ kicker 850 4 ch.
Focal 6k2 components in the doors, 2 kicker comp vr 8's in a sealed box.
Ch. 1&2 run the focals, 3&4 bridge mono the the DVC 8's. (4ohm)
Very unassuming, but I love watching their faces when she shuts them down at the local SQ. gigs. I have several programs for box design and man, what a world of difference using software to design the perfect boxes.
You really don't need the highest end gear, just real good tuning and tone discs. Imaging discs and a deal of patience. And a little understanding about cross-over slopes and frequencies.
OH, and a love for CLEAR tunes!!:D :D

My take on Team Giltronix is that the poster is the teenage son of the owner. No business owner could ever be so stupid.
Team Giltronix, your dad is going to be so pissed when he finds out you have ruined his entire business. Dude, you are going to be so grounded. :)
