I know, I know, I just got this bike dialed in but the wife wants a new house and some of the toys have to go :nag: . Bought this bike new in spring 2007, Rode it once in Havasu for the break-in ride, rode it once in Glamis and realized I was too fat for the stock suspesion. Had the suspension dialed in for a 200lb rider by Suspensions by Jake with a new rear Ti spring. Added the Zip-Tie fuel screw and Fastways wider footpegs. Took it out for one more trip and haven't riden since other than a few trips around the block. Seriously less than 10 hours on the bike. Hate to get rid of it, it's hands down the fastest, smoothest bike I've ever owned.
It's in better than new condition and comes with a paddle and knobby tire, whip mount too :D . $5000 Firm.
E-mail me at sigepmock@aol.com for more info. Located in Rancho Cucamonga.
Thanks,
Chris

Bump for a clean bike. I know Chris well and he takes really good care of everything he owns. I've seen this bike (on one of it's rare appearances) and it's extremely clean.

Just out of curiosity why did you go with a 2 stroke?

Just out of curiosity why did you go with a 2 stroke?
the 4 stroke roasted the engine, quit pump'n oil
out at the dunes, took it out about 5 times
brand new bike, sold it as junk,
desided two strokes are way better for the sand

Thanks for the bumps.......and thanks for the offer on a copier B:D but I think I'll have to pass....I asked Carrie if I could take a jeep on trade and she about killed me  :D
I used to have a pimped out YZ250 two stroke for Glamis, bumped up to 285 or so. Light, fast, with great suspension...I swore I'd never go four stroke....well....after getting spanked by all the guys on four strokes I made the jump....had a WR426..before this but it was heavier than my 250 and I could really feel the difference in the sand....Then I got this bike.....felt just as light as my two smoke but with a ton more low end power.....no more winding it out all day....stick it in 3rd and easy cruising....I loved having that low end power for those little bumps or drops where you needed to get the front wheel in the air.....just blip the throttle and the four stroke would carry the front end all day. Even thow I didn't get a ton of time on this bike....I think it was the easiest bike I've ever ridden.
blah blah blah I know.
Chris

Just moving up the hill farther, Alta Loma.....funny having kids changes your priorities...got to get to the better school district before the little one gets ready for school...might as well take advantage of the market being down. Luckily our house hasn't lost too much value and we still have a buch of equity...the bigger houses really seem to be hit hard....good for us...bad for them.

would you be willing to change the back shock to its original setting? Also, are the forks set up for a heavier rider as well? I am only 160LBS

I have the original rear Titanium spring that would be included with the bike. The front springs are stock. Valving for both the front and rear would need to be re-set for your weight.....I could hook you up with Jake and I'm sure he wouldn't charge you much to make the change maybe $200 or less, he typically does life time support for any of his work....but I doubt he would believe me if I told him I dropped to 160lbs:D
I think the price is very fair at $5000 for this bike as is with the stock spring included. That being said if you are serious, give me a call and we can talk about some options.

There are a rediculous amount of bikes listed on RDC and I probably wouldn't waste time putting it up on there.
Try Craigslist though...I've sold a few things from there. The only bad thing is you'll get a few bogus BS e-mails but other than that CL works pretty good.
And another bump for ya Chris

Thanks Dan. It's up on CL. I think I have a really good offer from a guy in Europe or something....he's going to put the money into an account at the bank and I just have to pay some fees for shipping or something...but in the end I get the difference....actually more than I'm asking for the bike....:D :D :D

I can't tell if you were joking about the guy from Europe, but if so, be careful. Quite a few scams coming from that direction usually thru Yahoo accounts which seem to have really bad tracing capability if something goes bad. Do a search on scams involving offshore email accounts and see if this matches the offer you have received.
