I miss the snow this time of the year. But then again, it's pretty hard to beat the desert in the winter. Nice pics. Congrats on the new place. Looks real nice there.

I'm sure you don't miss the mountain fog  . We just got back from my son's baseball games in Rosemead and the fog was intense on the rim, and it was snowing from Cliffhanger on in.

I would have to agree:D Nothing like driving the Rim in the fog when you can't see the lines because of the snow:eek:

I just make my wife stick her head out the passenger window so she can see the white line so I don't drive off the mountain :jawdrop:

It doesn't seem to snow here as much as it did when I was a kid, but this is a nice little storm we're having. Hopefully Snowbowl and Sunrise will have good seasons this year... got my eye on a new Burton :D

It is 90 miles north of Phoenix. Dylan's foot doctor is in the heart of Phoenix and it takes us an hour and a half to get there. 2 hours to Chandler/Mesa.
This is the kicker...
to get to parker take 2 hours and 45 minutes and no interstates. All are 2 lanes roads but very, very light traffic. Or if you take the north route, it is 2 1/2 hours to the 95 turn off at the 40. The drive is very pleasant either way and holiday traffic is almost nothing.
It takes us 5 hours to get to Riverside area with one stop. I have done it in 4hours and 15 mins by myself.
Come up for a weekend, we will show you around:D

Here is the main problem with this house.
http://i73.photobucket.com/albums/i226/caroftheweek/540.jpg
Right now my wife's Tahoe is sitting at the bottom on the street because she leaves at 6:15 in the AM and the driveway will freeze and it will be like a slip n slide...in your car.
I slid my truck down it this morning at 9:30. you could lock up the brakes and it would slide about 10 feet. I had fun:D
But...
in the summer time, we get great storms almost everyday from mid July to mid September. I loved the summer here.

Hopefully this will be a good year, we need it. The kid is heading to Whistler for X-Mas with his mom lucky little shit. I could handle Whistler and I could handle it with the kid, I just cant handle it with his mom. Maybe we can plan a trip to Sunrise especially if it is good. Call me. I am still trying to make it for Guttermouth!

If anyone moves there, please bring old people in need of care. :D

prescott is very nice. i lived there 7 years ago and it didn't really look like it does today. the mall, the car dealerships along with walmart was still a hill. IMO it was alot nicer back then, alot less people :D i still try to go up every once in awhile because i still have good friends that live up there. if you ever go to york dodge/jeep, my friend is the service manager. ask for the HB discount :D :D

Yeah P-town isn't what it used to be, but then, where is? As a kid I used to be able to ride my dirt bike right out of my garage. Nothing but me, my bike, and tons of open space. Those days are gone and they're not coming back, but at least its possible to make a living here... well, somewhat anyway :D
