Another 21 eliminator daytona question

What year did the daytona 21 center hull section change from flat to concaved.?I was told the earlier flat center sections hulls didnt perform as well.Any input on this subject.

Im not sure exactly what year they made the switch to the rounded keel (early 80's??) but its definatly something you want. i seriously doubt you will run across one with a flat keel, but if you do and you cannot live without it, you can have one of the "bottom" guys add the bubble to it.On the 19' tunnells racers have been known to make that bubble slightly larger for racing only applications to increase lift.

Mine is a 1983...rounded Keel...if that helps.
