I just wanted to thank everyone on the boards for the education and entertainment! :D I bought my boat in August '01 and have gone through rewiring, motor rebuild, new carpet, adding place diverter and a bunch of little stuff. I could never have done it without the info I have gotten off these boards. I lurk alot and couldn't begin to list everyone whose knowledge I've used, but Duane at HTP & Dennis Moore influenced several of my choices.
On my third trip out in May I created a metal flake filter element a la spun rod bearing

I HATE TO EVEN THINK HOW IT WAS FOR ME BEFORE I DISCOVERED THIS FORUM! I WOULD ASK QUESTIONS ABOUT MY FAVORITE FAST-TIME, AND ASKING REGULAR BOAT PEOPLE ABOUT A JET BOAT WAS CRAZY. IT SEEMED LIKE THE NEXT QUESTION OUT OF THEIR MOUTH WOULD BE, ARE YOU FROM ANOTHER PLANET/ NEEDLESS TO SAY THERE ARE DAMN FEW JETS ON BOSTON HARBOR!...BILL.

Thanx guys. That pan and squirty thing are stories in themselves. Both required some mods to work like I wanted them to. The place diverter nozzle is mated to a dominator droop and I had to shim up the teflon o ring to stop the blow by.
I have a local jet boat guru, but I'm not sure about some of his advice. It's nice to see the issues explained on these boards. Sometimes I try to decide if I'm on Monster Garage or Junkyard Wars. LOL :D

I hear ya BubbleJet,
Duane at Hi-TechPerformance is like a big book of knowledge when it comes to Jet boat`s and pumps. He`s also taken me a long way down the path of jet boat performance.
Without Duane from Hi-TechPerformance and Dave from Aggressor I would still just be a little fish in the big pond. I think there`s a great deal of knowledge on this forum if you can just read past the BS. I have not yet found one person that knows as much as Duane! Just when I think I know something he set`s me straight.
Glad you had the same good luck with the same good people!
