Time and again I see female guitarists...when they have a guitar on them they don't know how to make the guitar an actual part of them...whoever taught this chick did a damn good job.

A buddy of mine I buy guitar amp parts from knows her really well. He had some sort of a gain boost pedal that belonged to her...was given to him a few years back for him to fix. He fixed it and her manager never called or came back for it. So he used it for awhile...I would go and sit in with his band every so often and have played through that pedal several times. Had no idea it belonged to her until her manager came back for it like 8 months later.
He's trying to get her to use his amplifiers, but apparently she's got some endorsement deal with Fender or some bullshit like that.

Here's a kid you gotta check out. Corby Yates...I actually knew him personally about 10 years ago. He was 15 at the time. Fixed an amp for his dad Jim, who is his bass player. But he's from around my neck of the woods.

Duh! lol
He's also the guy who taught Kirk Hammett (Metallica) and Steve Vai how to play guitar. The story I heard was that Kirk already had a basic knowledge of the guitar, whereas Steve Vai he taught from the ground up. Don't really care for some of his music (personal taste) but he is no doubt a stellar guitar player.

We have a few phenom young girl guitar players in the neighborhood.
They play Daisy Rock guitars because for their small size and very tiny hands.
Not a particularly great guitar line but excellent for small hands and short arms and a boob slot in the guitar body.

Gotta love that Les Paul sound. I own 2 of them...all I ever use is Les Pauls and Marshall amps. However the amps are clones that I build...got one on the bench I need to get finished up.
Another great musician...Warren Haynes...his band Gov't Mule is one of the best. The only "signed" cover band I've seen and they do them well.

I remember my dad showing me that years ago...good stuff.
Here's one of his prodigys...Kenny Wayne Shepard...at the House of Blues '06. Recording quality isn't all that great but I love this song.

Funny thing is...his solos are really easy to play...I can tell exactly where he's putting his fingers, what pattern he's playing, what he's doing with the pick...all by ear...yet what makes his solos so badass is the flavor he puts on them.

Seen him live several times...ran sound for him once, and then worked at his step-dad's old club here called The Belmont as a sound engineer. He came out one night and hung out with me there while I was runnin' sound.
Here's some other friends of mine, The Mofo Party Band. John & Bill Clifton...Bill is the guitarist, John is the front man and harp player. This is a clip of them in Poland.
