Saw Mega-Yachts the other night on TV, and I've been thinking about this.......I want to be the guy that is in charge of the crew, and makes sure the Yacht gets to the places the owner needs it to be throughout the year. There are such jobs, and I bet there is at least one of those guys each of those boats too....

Yes, they do need to show off their hardware: Without right clicking can you guess the plane it is in ?

Aviation? Fly around in a 182 and read magazines.......:D
I grew up a few hundred yards from the fence at Kirtland AFB in Albuquerque.....I watched flights of all the century series fighters, B-36s, B-47s, B-57s, and B-52s pass over my house daily.
I could see them rolling out on the runway, trailing the drag chutes......
Been an incurable airhead ever since. :D :D

My Uncle was a Navy Pilot, F-8's and Phantoms. I grew up in El Cajon Ca. now 90,000+ people in the late 60's early 70's before the FAA really cracked down on flight stunts my uncle would buzz our house when he got home from tour (cruise) to let my mom know to head to Miramar in 2 hours to pick him up.:jawdrop:
I have liked planes every since.
I don't have a license, but I enjoy flying and I have 3 close friends that are pilots that I have flown with over the years. Here is a picture of the last single engine I flew, that's me at the control's:
http://i201.photobucket.com/albums/aa150/Sleepercp/scan0011.jpg
It's a Marcetti 260 from Air Combat USA. My "Pilot" an old friend (ex F-14 pilot and highest flight hour's in a TomCat in the first Gulf War as a J.O. off the Ranger) is now Head Pilot for Honeywell. I have been on a couple of their plane's when he landed in San Diego, two Falcon's. Can't wait to get on the G-5 50. :D

The N-numbers? Sure.......Rick Hendrick has a G-5, N-number N500RH. Roger Penske has N500RP. Phil Knight of Nike has a G-5, tail number N1KE. The Indy Racing League has a Canadair RJ they use to fly personnel to races, N1RL.

Yeah, but those guys monthly payment could have gotten you a pink slip on everything you own! Financing is a way for some people to leverage the wealth they have. They could pay cash, or they could finance a 50 mill boat at 9% and keep that 50 mill making them 20%. Who is smarter now? Its why the rich get richer, you need to pick up one of Robert Kiyosaki's books. (dont know if I spelled his name right)
