What kind of money you talkin'?
The 496 can be a slow re-seller.
Folks tend to want the 502's.

Warlock hands down. Have a 29' World Class in my backyard right now and it's a fun boat. 496 Mag HO will put you in the mid 70's under the right conditions with a 28 prop. Big enough for the ocean as well. Fun little hot rod boat compared to the 38' Donzi I'm normally shoeing. :D :D :D

I'd still go with the Warlock, but I also believe that you get what you pay for. ;)

I have the 25' warlock world Class..496 HO I love it! I upgraded the interior over the winter..great rough water boat..it doesn't care for smooth water under 25 mph..but who goes that slow anyway:D GET THE WARLOCK!

It is a lot of boat for 75k. Last time I checked Warlock fully rigged that boat with hyd. trim tabs and hyd steer for that price. It is a solid boat that will eat up any chop or bigger water.

This is not intended to ruffle anyone's shorts, but if Carter Reed had anything to do with the building/rigging of any of these boats they aren't worth the tires on the trailers. He's got to be one of the worst business owners, boat builders I've ever come in contact with. Good luck with your search and hopefully you will find the boat your looking for.

That's about right if it has all the jewelry AZJD was talking about.
Jordys right, nice rides, and nice looking.
But this is a changing market.
Ya might want to offer 6 to 8 grand less and hold out.

Dam, two really excellent boats.
I'd look at what grabs you by the ass and you feel comfortable in and want to be seen in.
Then, go for a better price.
It's a tough market.
I always buy with the idea I have to sell it one day.
You may be different.
Warlock is an attractive re-seller.

If you can get a new 29 WC for $75K your getting a good deal. Be sure your getting the extras. They add up fast. Tabs, dual ram steering are a must on the 29. My 2001 29 WC is for sale at a reasonable price. The 29 is a great boat.

i'm looking for a mid cabin boat . I like the extra space that the bow gives you . I don't think that the 27 or 29 have tabs on them . the re sale factor is always a consideration

29 WORLD CLASS

I have a 2004 29 worldclass with H0 & 28 prop runs hard 70 on 87 fuel. Has 130 hours, love chop, been to Catalina once with 6 people abord, the boat ran 60 there & 60 back with no problems. Yes Carter Reed has been thrown out of two many boats & you would think he landed on rocks.

The 25 and 29 are both nice boats, I've raced a few 29's over the years and and they are great handling boats. There's a 29 with a 525 for 49,999 in PB classifieds. I know the boat, it seems like a good deal.
Most 29 Warlocks have tabs mounted flat which makes them affective in turns and ruduces drag in straight aways. If you're really serious about the Cobra and the Warlock you should drive both.

Just FYI guys, Inland auto and boat center is selling 2007 boats and calling them 2008's. Same stock they have had for a year and same paint shemes. If I am wrong about this I am sorry, but I have had someone call me that was looking last year and saw these boats in person.

55K out the door for my 29 Warlock. Has the 496HO, Teague Platinum XR drive, dual hydraulic steering, Big Stereo and porta potty. You can test drive it in Phoenix anytime. I think there is one other interested party at this point.

Yes , it is inland boats and i did notice that the 07 warlocks are now 08 but i did not ask how that is possible. all the advise and comments have been great and i really appreciate it and having hot boat forums come back on line has been great for me. i spent a day at inland and i was really impressed with their selection. On the warlocks , they all looked to be very well built as many of you have said but for me i felt cramped in them except for the 27 worldclass. there was a sweet 25 daytona but i wanted a mid cabin. essex 27 was nice but the price was up there. the nordics were also solid but im not crazy about the style but the 27 deck boat they had was really awsome. magic and sunsation were cuddys and the advantage and lightning were just ok so it came down to two boats the 07 27 cobra razor and the 07 26 commander signature I chose the signature. what i can tell you is this is a really nice boat and i know you are not going to find the perfect boat unless you have unlimited funds but for me the boat really felt good . It has all the custom features that the razor has, the performance would be about the same and i do plan to upgrade that in the future with a raylar kit so going into this i wasn't concerned. the razor is a really nice boat and im sure that overall it is better quallity than the sig but again i thought it was close i really couldn't tell and we were all over these boats for hours and this boat is vitually new the price was significantly different and for me that was the tie breaker i will be picking it up this week

yes I was aware , but it does look like they are trying to put it together. the truth is you could buy any custom boat and find out the next day that they are going out of business. the good news is mercury still waranties the engine the boat manufactures don't as far as re sale I don't know how it will be affected
