Exicited about Jet boating in the West Coast. Just moved out to Southern California from Illinois, so where are the good spots to Jet.

I am down in San Diego and I think we have a couple smaller lakes, but not what I am used too. I grew up on the Mississippi with unlimited areas to boat right on my door step. Not here

About 3 hours along 8 and up 95 out of Yuma is Martinez Lake. Stay in Yuma and launch at Fishers. Head up river and look for Sand Bars in the middle a couple of mile up from the 90° right turn, or keep going another 15 miles or more for some more quiet stuff.

you cant beat fishers.yuma has everything you need and is only 3 hrs away.motel 6 45.00 per night.we like to go up past picacho about 8 miles.good fishin,and nice and quit.going out june 14 to 19 see ya:) :) :)

never driven a boat there just jet ski's .is the whole lake 35 mph ? that would suck nuts!:sleeping:

El Cap is a good lake to go to. The rangers are more laid back than at san vicente. El Cap is the first place I went 100. You have to stay in the back section and run when the patrol boats arent back there. Be safe and don't throw it in their face what you are doing and have baffles in when you launch. The rangers are into boats mostly as much as we are. What boat do you have?
