Robert, my wife is sooo happy you own the Skater now. Don't take it personaly though. It was more a matter of her not wanting me to own the Skater.
She is a sweet little boat though isn't she?

Forrest, I never see Excaliburs for sale anymore. Where the heck are they?
I love to buy a project so I search the boattrader.com ads regularly. I see a few Magnums most of the time but rarely an Excalibur.
Was that boat always in the Ozarks are?
Do you remember the Bertram Baron that sat at Lodge of the Four Seasons for years? It was a red boat. I think they were 28 foot long and looked like a classic Donzi on steroids.
I use to ride over there just to look at that thing.
I also remember some Cobalts that looked like a spash of the classic 18 Donzi running around the lake.

My boat was always a LOTO boat. They are hard to find. I have seen a couple of them for sale with big power claims of over 90 mph. My boat is red with a white deck and hull. There was a guy with a blue one that had a 440 in and a speedmaster it was a missle for it's time. 80+. We talk about a new boat but this is paid for and I still enjoy it. Mine is a flat deck there are more of the tall deck versions. Forrest
P.S. I do remember the cobalts and they were the donzi.

Nice Glastron club and web site. I started a Donzi Club called the Midwest Donzi Club here in Central OH. We are holding a gathering at Lake Cumberland in Jamestown KY if any Donzi owners are interested. This will be the second year for the event and it will be held May 9th through the 14th. For more info., go to www.mwdonziclub.com (http://www.mwdonziclub.com) Last year we had 35 Donzi boats at the event and this year looks even bigger with at least 45 boats planning on coming down to KY. RumRunner,
I have a '97 Aggressor which HAD a 502 with B&M 250, two 700s. That was before I bought it and the motor went into a 28 Intimadator. Now has a normally aspirated 502. I was thinking about going back to a blower motor next season, but the gas tank is real close to the crank pulley. Have you checked the clearance yet? With the 250 blower it was less than 1/4" and fit under the hatch with the back seat moved up 2". I dont mind going through the hatch, but the back seat would have to be moved up more and I may have to modify the tank.
Any thoughts?

Aggressor 25:
With the old motor there was 4" from the front of the crank pulley to the bulkhead between the motor, and the tank, so I don't think it should be a problem, my boat had some type of blower in it before, some put a piece of metal against the back of the seat to prevent the belt from hitting if it got spit off. By raising the back of the hatch up it should fit without a problem. I'd rather not cut the stock hatch, I may make a new one for next season, but I've got to get this thing back together, the season is here !!!
