What spark plugs are yall running in your BBC's ,and at what gap?
I have a mild 454 with closed chamber heads off 396 its like 9.5-10 to 1
compression mild cam 750 holley dp. dui distriubutor with 8mm msd wires.
any help would be greatly appreicated.

what gap are you running them at?

Call a Napa or O'rielys etc find someone who has some basic knowledge and ask them for the correct plug fo a late sixties ss 396 Chevelle (good start point) 396/427 heads if memory serves use a long reach 14mm gasketed plugs Vs most other BBC's which use the short peanut plus Casting numbers on the heads would help Tom
