Info on Buck Smith boats, anyone?

Has anyone ever heard of either Buck Smith Boats or Buck Smith & Sons Boats? I came across one and I've never heard of them before.
Any information provided would be greatly appreciated!

yeah i believe that he made old races boats i know some one on these boards that has one its a wood deck flat bottom v-drive its a pretty cool looking boat and i know that they were heavy boats. form what i could tell form look at that particular one.
hope some one else has some usefull info maybe go try in the v-drive forum iam sure some one over there knows a little more than me wink

Yea, I helped build one back in the 60's. A Buck Smith "Hot Rod" model, standard glass bottom with a lightweight (cheaper) plywood deck. Set it up with a 400 inch Buick, 80 mph easily.
