Hi, My name is Robert Mobley the Executive Director of the Lake Havasu City Marine Association. As boat owners, there is something we all need to be aware of. There is a EPA law going into effect in September that will effect us all. The law essentially puts a 21' Shiada, and an ocean going freighter in the same playing field. We all will be required to purchase a permit from the EPA to clean the bilge, or hose off the deck. Please go to www.boatblue.org and send a message to your senators to let them know this is not right, and needs to be changed before it goes into effect. Seventeen different senators have gotten a coalition together to change the law. We need more senators to sign on.
