Billy, looking from the front it looks like the white dividing the purple and green is off a 1/16 of a inch. You might want to double check.

boy what a difference. I was by there about a week and a half ago and all that hydro had on it was some white paint, masking tape and some pencil marks.

ProMod? Fuel? What's it gonna be?This will be a PRO MOD driven by Shawn Reed out of Washington St. This boat does have some history. This boat was formely the "Cuckoo's Nest" owned by Tom Wright. It ran the last couple of seasons as the "Secrets Out". This boat went through a MAJOR transformation. The floor was redone and alot of glass work to fix stress crack and fill about 20 some odd holes. The boat was then stripped by razor blades due to the 3 or more super thick paint jobs done by the previous owners. Bobby (my brother) and I swept up all the paint at the end of the day and put it in a box. When shawn showed up to ck things out I gave him his boat back in a box. He thought it was cool and took it with him. Box weighed close to 20pds at least. Hopefully with him being a rookie and never driving anything like this he'll have a sucessfull season.

Shawn is taking a BIG step this year. He raced his first year with CDBA last year in the 11.0 sec. class and now is stepping up to PRO MOD. Talk about getting hooked. Hope all goes well for him, he will for sure have all the right gear to make things happen.
Billy that thing looks SICK!!! Much better than the old pink and blue!!!

Wow, you're good......#38. I'd still like to know how you razor blade around bends and curves! I need lessons! I'll be down! That is incredible paint, but then, I hear you're paid well so you can support your extended family!! :cry:

I think it is fun, the corners are a bitch though.

well it sounds like I got my colors right then. Should keep my 1978 schiada looking like a 1978 schiada as was intended. Good point about the shorts. I'll have to hit some thrift shops to find a retro pair of OP's. :p

this is what it looked like before Billy Z got ahold of it. having worked on this boat for the last 3 or 4 years i can vouch for all the stress cracks in the floor and all the layers of paint. i just hope with all that paint gone it stays together. :) . The new paint looks great even looking at it inside a trailer at night with only the trailer lights doing it justice and the floor looks brand new. good job BillyZ
