I am putting a new motor in my boat it has around 600 to 650 hp. what impeller cut would work well with my boat?
thanks.

you should consider bronze. Should cover you to more power. As far as the pitch, I'd run an "AA"....you won't spin very fast nor will you over spin the engine....save parts and gas!
Others will recommend a different pitch. good luck.

600-650hp at what RPM?

Depends on what RPM your making power and what you want from the boat. I run an "A" (berk) I have great holeshot and I dont need any more top speed with my hull, so I'm not worried about going faster. I have hit 5300 RPM even though my engine's peak HP is at 6500

Unless you have a blower and are making that power down low I'm guessing you'll need more like a b cut to get it up wher the power is. Like the other guys said where in the rpm range you make the power is as important as the amount of power itself.

my 468BBC is pushing 600hp. im running an aluminum B impeller in my 19 foot challenger spinning around 6k rpm. when i first got the boat it had an A in it. i could only get to like 5300 rpm but had a decent holeshot. runs much better all around with the B. im having the pump rebuilt with an american turbine impeller probably the same cut B or B/C not sure yet.
