You must not be talking about the Marine Stadium races- they are on Aug. 2 & 3.

If you're talking about the Boat Liquidation and Accessories Sale at the Rose Bowl, it's Saturday and Sunday, August 16-17. Dealers and manufacturers are signing up now -- looking for 200+ boats and lots of accessories at bargain prices to show up. And for once....parking and admission are free!
