Has Anyone Ever Had A Prop Re-pitched? Does It Work,or Should I Just Buy A New One?

I just had a Bravo 1 24P repitched to 25P with cup added. It came out rally nice, and works great. With the 24P I was hitting the rev limiter, but with the 25P and the added cup, it brought me down about 300rpm.

How Much Did It Cost? Where Did You Take It? Do You Know If They Can Take A 28 To A 22?

There is a shop here in Vegas that has a real good rep. Do a search for R&R Propellers.

I took it to the Propeller Shop in Lake Havasu. It was a labbed 24P that I had dinged up. It was going to cost me $150.- to repair, and it cost me an additional $100.- to repitch.
I was hitting the limiter with the 24, and that kept my max speed at around 67 during the coooler months, With the 25 I was right at the limiter (arond 5100rpm) the other day, and saw 70.1 on gps. The only time the boat has seen 70, and that was with just me in the boat, a light load of fuel, and only a 12 pack on board.

Uh...probably not. They can tweak an inch or two, but something that drastic would probably require them to cut the blades off and re-weld them.

Thats What I Figured,oh Well, I Will Save The 28 For Sea Level.
