I know tons about implants. I myself went through the belly button and have no scars. I went from an A to a D. I went to a Dr. that helped invent the belly button procedure. Give me a private message so that I can help you out if you want.

Here's my only recomendation,,,,Go BIG first....Whatever size she initially decides on, go AT LEAST 50 to 75cc bigger...Trust me, After the inital swelling goes down, she'll wish they were bigger.....We've done three of these operations and she still wants bigger..... :) PM me if you'd like her doctor's info

My wife got implants,she had them done by a doctor here in AZ that is highly recommended.He has fixed many many "hack jobs" and the pics are in his office to prove it, so be comfortable with your Dr. One thing he said when she asked to "go bigger" like everyone here seems to think is, that they wont look right. You have to get the size that is right for her body type so they look natural. So listen to your doctor on the size recommendation. Every womans breats and body are a little different, some point out in front, some hang to the side. He cant take ones that hang to the side and make them point out front.Also make sure and go UNDER the muscle ,not on top or they will look hacked.

I bought a pair for an x-girlfriend. She got them done in Utah for a cheaper price which was like $3200.00 about 7 or 8 years ago. She wanted a C size because she was very petite. She ended up with like a double D. The Dr. said they would shrink but they never really did. I ended up spending another $4500.00 for a Dr. in Anahiem Hills for another surgery. She was happy with the second pair. Make sure you do your research.

Here's my only recomendation,,,,Go BIG first....Whatever size she initially decides on, go AT LEAST 50 to 75cc bigger...Trust me, After the inital swelling goes down, she'll wish they were bigger.....We've done three of these operations and she still wants bigger..... :) PM me if you'd like her doctor's info

My wife got implants,she had them done by a doctor here in AZ that is highly recommended.He has fixed many many "hack jobs" and the pics are in his office to prove it, so be comfortable with your Dr. One thing he said when she asked to "go bigger" like everyone here seems to think is, that they wont look right. You have to get the size that is right for her body type so they look natural. So listen to your doctor on the size recommendation. Every womans breats and body are a little different, some point out in front, some hang to the side. He cant take ones that hang to the side and make them point out front.Also make sure and go UNDER the muscle ,not on top or they will look hacked.

Yes I know silicone is only used for reconstruction, but the rejection possibilities are still there because the bags are still made out of Silicone.
If you still want to go forward find someone that as at least a couple of thousand procedures behind them ''Practice makes perfect''.

I went with silicone for a few reasons, mainly because people who had previously had saline-filled implants and later had silicone ones put in said they liked the feel & look of them more - they were more natural-like. Not to mention that of all the official studies they have done there have been no more instances of any diseases in the people WITH silicone implants versus the people saline.
My sister works for a world-renowned surgeon in Encino, Dr. Lesavoy, who specializes in reconstruction. He's fixed many a hack-job and prefers silicone implants hands-down. He also prefers "over-the-muscle" for a more natural look and studies have also shown that capsular contracture has not occurred more in this placement either. You could talk with him & see what you think. (They will waive the consult fee if you ask & say you know Carrie's sister, Treena - ME). I recommend going to several doctors, I'd say around 5 or 6 or so, and take notes, ask lots of questions. Why do some think certain ways of putting implants in are better than others, etc., etc.? IMHO remanufacturing body to meet other peoples(bf/husband/friends etc.), expectations is pointless and should only(IMO) be done in case of disease, accident, natural deformation or the part of the body ie breasts are WAY too small (or big) for the body in question. Also if breast feeding makes them drop near to the belly button maybe some "tighthening" is in order...
Silicone implants are like putting a hardwood steering wheel to a Lada: Looks a bit better but ride is still the same.
Go for it if you truly think you need 'em, but not until you get the children (IMHO).
I love and respect my own gf just the way she is. There is much more in the person than the breasts... Ok, she has nicely formed C:s :) No need for bigger ones for her.

This was not an attempt to bash silcone, that's what the bags are made of. I know this because my wife just had them done. The web link in my previous post was only so that anyone having a breast augmentation done will be fully informed, I had my wife look at this site so she would be aware of what possibly could go wrong or could happen, if her body decide to reject the bags or the surgery just went wrong.

I have heard around 10 years. But there are many factors involved. Type of skin, size of implants, does she still wear a bra? or is she barley wearing one? just to name a few. This question is answered in a case by case situation. Not that it matters, but my wife and I love ours. :)

It's been a week and a half since the Surgurey and Jen is doing great.She loves her new implants and is looking forward to stuffing them in a bathing suit for the 4th of July.
I think she made the right choice by going with 510cc;) :p
On a side note I applaud all the ladies that have gone through this ordeal!! It flat out whips your ass for a good week.The first 3-4 days are really tough on you gals and I did what I could to make her comfortable.Jen was a trooper and wen't back to work 5 days later.(She never complained once)
