Ethanol

In the state of MO all Gas has 10% of Ethanol. What it it doing to boat motors. Some people say if it is oil injected or oil mixed you shound not use Eathanol gas at all. they also say if your motor is an automotive type you shound not let it set unused for more than 2 weeks and additives don't work. Like when it is time to winterize you should drain any Gas that is in the tank. I have both, 1 waverunner and 1 HP500 Merc.

Welcome back to earth.....there has been 10% ethanol in gas for 20 plus years, and all lower 48 states have been just now mandated to require it. We've used it for 15 years I guess by now, Sleds, Jetskis, Pontoon boat. No ill effects, some older vehicles, and boats have issues with crap coming out of the tank, and plugging the filters, fuel line, and fiberglass fuel tanks deteriorate from the ethanol. We no longer need Stabil for the fuel, in the off seasons.
